Common Questions
When should I start planning my trip?
For the best availability, especially during peak season (May-October), we recommend starting 4-6 months before your travel dates. However, we can work with shorter timelines if needed.
Do your fees include the actual cost of hotels, tours, etc.?
No, our planning fees are separate from your travel costs. Our fee covers our expertise, time, and service. You'll pay for accommodations, tours, and activities directly (or we can handle payments on your behalf with White Glove Service).
What's the difference between Custom Planning and White Glove Service?
With Custom Planning, you receive a complete itinerary and recommendations but make all reservations yourself. With White Glove Service, we handle every booking - hotels, trains, restaurants, tours - plus provide 24/7 support during your trip. White Glove Service starts at $1,500, depending on the scope of booking and support involved.
Can you help with flights?
We focus on the Italy portion of your trip. We're happy to advise on flight timing and airports, but we don't book international airfare.
What's your cancellation policy?
Planning fees are non-refundable once work begins, but we're flexible with date changes. We'll work with you if circumstances change.
Do you work with groups?
Absolutely! We love planning for families, friend groups, and special occasions. For groups of 6+, we may adjust pricing based on complexity — reach out to discuss your specific needs.
Is there a minimum number of days?
No minimum at all! We specialize in making the most of short stays — whether you have a few days before a cruise, a quick stopover between destinations, or a long weekend to explore. Every day counts, and we know how to maximize even the briefest time in Italy.
