Hi, I'm Tamar Miller
Italy Awaits Founder
My travels to Italy began while I was studying for my Art History degree during college. I had focused on the Early Italian Renaissance and of course fell in love with living in Florence. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for Italian history and culture.
After graduation, I moved back to Italy and ended up teaching English to adults for three years. After my return to the USA, life continued with family and obligations but the Italian dream and love for the culture weighed heavily on my heart. Yearly holidays back to Italy convinced me to continue my education.
I returned to school and completed a Masters in Roman Archaeology. My continuous research in Italy has the added benefit of frequent travel, allowing me to venture off the beaten path and visit places I would have never known existed had it not been for my ongoing education.
It has been these journeys over the last few decades that have given me a wealth of knowledge and made me the go-to travel advisor for friends and family. My enthusiasm for travel planning convinced me this was truly my passion and I hope by showing others the beauty of Italy that maybe it too will inspire their Italian dream.
